Alex Lam, General Manager of Brewerkz Riverside Point:


Graduating in 1998 with a Diploma in Hospitality and Catering Management from Syuen Hotel and Catering Management Institute in Malaysia, Alex decided to pursue his love for food and beverage in Singapore.

He began his career within the same year at Brewerkz as a full-time server, before moving on to Café Iguana in 2003 as a Service Manager. He was then presented with the opportunity of leading the opening team at Brewerkz second outlet at the Singapore Indoor Stadium. Alex presently oversees the day-to-day service operation at Brewerkz Riverside Point.

Varen Liew, General Manager of Brewerkz Riverside Point :

Varen never thought he had a knack for this industry. Wanting to travel the world, this adventure-seeker sought a career as a travel agent and completed his IATA UFTAA Travel and Tourism diploma and advance diploma.

Nonetheless, he settled down in the hospitality industry and built his foundation in customer service at Pan Pacific Hotel and Goodwood Park Hotel. He finally joined Brewerkz in 1998 as a server and showed great aptitude and attitude. Varen quickly escalated up the ladder to his current position.
